Ok, initial findings about 173.14.05, more will come later
Suspend and hibernate works with Firefox3 RC1 opened (did I said it's initial findings?
).
Suspend works without a hitch, hibernate still have some soft CPU lockup 5 times for 11 secs each, but it resumes fine and afterward seem to work ok.
Performance wise I dont' see any big improvement over 173.08 beta, but my opinion might change after some tough testing.
I did set that new cache setting Option "PixmapCacheSize" "192000" together with InitialPixmapPlacement=0 and GlyphCache=1 (fastest for me), gtkperf didn't show anything faster than before and firefox still is ok.
Will update this after more tests at real world production situations and some GL games / Wine games of course!
