Uhm...question on frontpage story "Trouble for ATi in Korea"
You listed this story about troubles for ATi in Korea
, but when I was reading the very short blurb about it I got all confused:
I was pointed out to a page on a Korean site that has some interesting news, stating that the companies in Korea that are manufacturing ATI-based video card manufacturers are considering leaving ATI due to decreasing sales. Sales have dropped around 40-50% in July, which includes the GeForce FX 5600 128MB video cards.
The bolding is mine, but why are they talking about the GF FX 5600 as an ATi card?
[SIZE=1][I]"It was very important to us that NVIDIA did not know exactly where to aim. As a result they seem to have over-engineered in some aspects creating a power-hungry monster which is going to be very expensive for them to manufacture. We have a beautifully balanced piece of hardware that beats them on pure performance, cost, scalability, future mobile relevance, etc. That's all because they didn't know what to aim at."
