Default Re: Crysis Warhead Will Run on $653 Machine!!

I call shens.

Quote:
$653 Machine Specs:

* Shuttle SG31G2S Barebone case : $234.99
* Intel Pentium E2180 2.0Ghz Dual Core CPU : $69.99
* Samsung SH-S203B DVD Burner : $26.99
* Hitachi Deskstar 7K160 160 GB hard drive : $44.99
* A-Data 2GB DDR SDRAM : $45.99
* MSI Geforce 8600GT 512MB videocard : $88.99
* Microsoft Windows Vista 32-Bit Home Premium : $109.99
(This is aimed at Crytek, not the OP)

I don't know about you, but I like to use a power supply for these computers. The included 250W likely isn't going to power an 8600GT. Oh, and a keyboard, mouse, speakers, and monitor would be nice too. Don't tell me it can run on a $650 PC, but then conveniently leave out half the required equipment.

And where are these optimizations for Crysis? In the 1.3 patch they bailed on? Screw em. Devs like this are cash cows, let them follow EA to consoles, as they give PC devs a bad name.
