- 8bit colors
- 15bit colors => 16bit = ARGB (A=1bit)
- 16bit colors => 16bit = RGB
- 24bit colors => 32bit = ARGB (A=8bit)
the first one is the color bits the second one is the actual bits used
they are filled up with alpha values, mostly used for blending purposes...
these are the 4 depths:
the 24bit color mode as used in windows is not supported by NVIDIA.
