I already had a EVGA 780i mobo so the PCI slot was not the problem. I tried a 1000w Corsair PSU instead of the TX750. It worked like a charm. No issues at all. I would think I just had a bad PSU, but it works great with every other card out there. It might have something to do with the 6+2 pin PCIx PSU connectors. The 1000w is modular and has a direct 8pin PCIx PSU connector.
