Default Re: Official Unofficial OSX on your non-Apple hardware thread

I've been so busy with school and work this summer I still haven't had the time to update to 10.5.3. I'll have some time thursday afternoon. I think I'm gunna buy another hard drive and shuffle the harddrives around a bit with my systems. Then I plan on triple booting this sysem with Vista x86, Vista x64 and Leopard 10.5.3.

This time I think I'm going to put 2 partitions on my OSX drive so I can use time machine. What I'm thinking is that I'll install 10.5.3 and then before installing any video or sound drivers I'll backup the system on time machine so that I can more easily get back to a clean install. I'd like to use a new HD for the OSX installation because I found that my older HDs are the cause of my low performance in Xbench. Geekbench doesn't test the disk even though the reliability and performance of your HD can affect general usability.
