Prices are falling on the 280's right now, but I'm not so sure buying one now is the best idea knowing full well the (280b or 290) is coming in September. This will certainly drive prices down even more on the 280 if you're not tempted to buy the more powerful and cooler running (280b or 290). Patience is a tough thing to master, but I just can't see buying a 280 right now with the next revision coming so soon. Won't matter for me anyway since I'm buying a 4870x2, but for those that are buying Nvidia, this is something to think about.
