I don't know for sure but it looks that way now. Dunno what the likelihood is of me having both problems at the same time. That power supply is about two years old and it had always treated me well and ran the 8800GTX with no problems.

I just got done playing Mass Effect for about 4 hours with no issues. No way could I have done that with the first card.

I don't regret buying the Corsair PSU. Just knowing I have the extra power under me is worth it.
