Zardon: How can you see nvidia’s interactions with the general enthusiast community changing in the future?

Derek: I think you’ll see a couple of things. First of all – we’ve always monitored the community and listened to what they said – but very rarely have we communicated directly with them. So you’ll see more NV people participating in public forums – answering questions and laying to rest rumors and speculation. Also – you’ll see us sponsor more LAN parties, Gamefest, and so on. Doing tutorials, give-aways, sponsorships and more.
Yeah, 'cept it's against corporate rules for them to post on boards.

Think they're going to change their policies? Or do you think nVidia employess are going to have to get corporate permission every time before they post?

They're talking the talk great, but I haven't seen a single change yet.
[SIZE=1][I]"It was very important to us that NVIDIA did not know exactly where to aim. As a result they seem to have over-engineered in some aspects creating a power-hungry monster which is going to be very expensive for them to manufacture. We have a beautifully balanced piece of hardware that beats them on pure performance, cost, scalability, future mobile relevance, etc. That's all because they didn't know what to aim at."
