I can preorder one for 340.00 CAD = 285.00 USD as posted about it here
I don't think the Bloomfield version of Nehalem is exactly mainstream. In Q3 2009 Intel is going to release Lynnfield which is supposed to be the mainstream Nehalem
Back to the motherboards.
The EVGA board
posted by jAkUp has good layout for 3-way SLI. The board looks simple comparing to some other X58 boards. Maybe it's just some early not final version. I think the 3 green DIMM slot would look better in blue.
Good for EVGA first time supporting CrossFire, I think this is more thanks to the X58 Chipset.
The board is most likely not going to be ready at i7 launch time so I'm not going to put it on my shortlist.
Still leaning towards the Asus P6T Deluxe since the Foxconn Quantum Force 'Blood Rage' X58
posted by lee63 is also not going to be ready at i7 launch time. That is definitely good looking board. The layout doesn't look any good for 3-way SLI, something I probably will never have need for anyway.
I just noticed npras42 already talked about the Lynnfield here
