I did find only one 1080p LCD for $1200, let's say the price for 47" is not too bad but it has only 90-day limited warranty from Philips.
The specs are average for lower priced LCD but one thing surprised me and I can't understand why 1080p panel would only support 1366x768 max resolution in computer format.
LG did this once and they paided for it bad style.. i.e you noted 60Hz, 1080p this means HDMI only connection at the hz and highdef player to be complatable ..
not many screens that are like that now.
