You guys are going down the same path that other people have in this forum. Do a search under "Linux Forums" (will search both forums that way) for "NForce" (w/o quotes of course).

I run a Shuttle XP machine with Red Hat 9, and I eventually had to download a *fixed* rpm from another site to get my NIC to work.

The only drawback to this is that it only runs under 1 version of the Kernel. So effectively, once I got mine running, I downloaded a bunch of updates, and ended up losing my NIC card access. Now I have to make sure I stay within that one particular kernel to have access to the network.

Anyway, do the search, and find the topic, you should find a post in there from me as well. Good luck!
