I'm still not sure where all this talk of nvidia being completely pwned is coming from.
The Radeon 48xx cards are good but the only one that has a major lead over the competition is the X2, which is still in a niche market since it requires a ton of power, uses multiple GPUs and costs over $500. The GTX 260 and 4870 are pretty even in most cases, with both cards winning by a fair margin in different games and the GTX 260 currently being a bit cheaper than even the 512Mb 4870.
Its like nvidia is suddenly being
"zomgwtf steam rolled" because ATI has actually put out something that's competitive for the first time since 2003. Is that how it works now?
The Inquirer is probably the main culprit in spreading this FUD.
