Default Re: New to graphic cards, have a question about upgrading to 260.

it acording to how much money he wants to spend ,He can get a pretty cheap upgrade that will be a lot faster then what he has.Intel E5200 wolfdale 2.5gigs with a 12.5 multipler for great overclocking $83 ,a Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L $55, 4Gigs G.Skill DDR2 1066 2 x 2gigs $75 ,BFG Tech 650watt $55 and a MSI GTX 260 $240 plus it has a $40 rebate makeing it $200.It comes out to $508 ($468 with rebate),The E5200 overclocks great ,able to do 4gigs with a good heatsink. The XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm for $32 with free shipping plus it has a $10 rebate. It is just as good as the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme but half the price and comes with a fan.
