This is what XVMC_DEBUG=2 gives me through mplayer. The cpu utilization surges to 100% and I have to kill the process with the -9 signal:

I don't know if the stack is smashing or what, but it doesn't seem to be giving me any useful debug information. Should I compile anything with debug flags, perhaps the nvidia drivers themselves?
