Give your wife the HD 4850 ,and since you are running a Quad at 3.36gigs you should see a pretty good increase in games or at least most of them.If you run at 1680x1050 ,you will be able to crank up the FSAA and the aniso since it has more vram unless the the 4850 has a 1gig of memory.I run a Q6600 at 3240gig with my BFG GTX 280 OCX in SLI and everthing I play looks good ,But I have a 24" monitor so I game at 1920x1200 with FSAA and aniso as high as it will let me play in games and it looks good and plays smooth .But I don't play wow.
