Default Need help installing driver for FX5200 in Ubuntu 8.04LTS

I'm new to Linux. I have Ubuntu 8.04LTS installed, initially using onboard graphics. I would like to install an FX5200 AGP card that I already have but is not currently being used.

I downloaded the driver from http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d...173.14.12.html and read the installation steps there. Step 3 says,
"Type "sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.12-pkg1.run" to install the driver." I have no idea where I'm supposed to type that string.

Also, I'm not absolutely sure I downloaded the right driver. It was for GeForce 5 FX series and 32-bit Linux. I presume GeForce 5 FX series means FX 5200, FX 5500, etc.

Can you help?
