Programs should not damage cards, period. Cards have been made for 3D. They should not overheat under any circumstances. If they overheat, then there's something wrong... And it's not the program... The program will stress the card to its limits and reveal any problems. The fact that some people will ignore Furmark completely and say it's the program's fault is just plain stupid. Thermalright included...
