I think buying a used GTX 280 is the best solution right now. GTX 295 / dual card solutions always have issues, micro stutter, low minimum FPS. This has been seen by a few reviews already. Also, you have to deal with profiles for them. IMO the dual cards are just too much of a hassle to deal with. A GTX 285 is a bit overpriced when a GTX 280 is very close in performance but selling for alot less $$$ used.

I'd say grab a GTX 280 and enjoy that until DX11 matures and we see some games that actually use it. Thats your best bang for the buck option right now.
