Well they can easily be found on EVGA site under
products/GT200 series and they have been there ever since I got my card so I don't think there's any particular peculiarity about it.
Also all the shops that sell EVGA products here have had the card in stock but that kinda depends on the country/shop.
I noticed some thread over at the EVGA forums where someone had RMA'd one of these SSC cards and obviously EVGA european customer service had said that there is some issue with some of the SSC cards, but the thread didn't reveal anything precisely.
