Here's the setting that can actually strain your video card.

Besides changing all the various texturedetail settings to "UltraHigh", the following was also changed:

TextureMaxLod = -10
TextureMinLod = -10

under "WinDrv.WindowsClient"

DetailTexMipBias = -10
DefaultTexMipBias = -10
LevelofAnisotropy = 16 (it is 1 by default).

under "D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice"

Without FSAA
512x384: 174 FPS
640x480: 146
800x600: 116
1024x768: 86
1280x1024: 63
1600x1200: 45

At various levels of aniso (1600x1200, no FSAA):
1: 67.24 FPS
2: 55.04 FPS (18.1% hit)
4: 49.47 FPS (26.4%)
8: 46.58 FPS (30.7%)
16: 45.43 FPS (32.4%)

These are flyby -asbestos scores, no bots.
