Default Re: 700w PSU handle SLi GTX260 cards?

I would'nt chance it because you will be pushing that power supply to the limmit .with all the other stuff you have hooked up and draws off the 12v rails. On a 700watt the most it can put out on the 12v rails is 56 amps but that is without running anything on the other rails. It is possible I guess but you are likely to see frezzes and reboots. You could see something worst if it shorts out.You can buy you a good 850watt made by corsair for $139 and even better then that,a PC Power &Cooling 750watt would run two GTX 260's .I have seen plenty of people running two GTX260 of a PC Power &Cooling 750watt and some say they run two GTX 280's but I think that is pushing it.Plus newegg has a good sale on the PC Power & Cooling 750watt power supply.$109.99 with free shipping.
