Uninstall the x11-video-nvidiaG02 + nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-(kernel_flavor) rpms.

install the ones from the nvidia installer

Then follow the suse notes:

1) Kernel sources must be installed and configured. Usually this means
installing the 'kernel-source', 'make' and 'gcc' packages with YaST2.

open terminal and become root

init 3
to kill X (alternatively you can just boot to runlevel 3)

2) Use the nvidia installer for 185.19.

 sh -q
3) Configure X.Org with

 sax2 -r -m 0=nvidia (0 is a digit, not a letter!)
restart x or reboot

once your desktop is up you can either look at your nvidia control panel to verify a working driver or run glxgears.
