if you're running gentoo and have cairo compiled with glitz-support this should fix your system and prevent those crashes I got (if you're encountering them too)

for those "Floating point exception" messages it could be a toolchain problem (the newer toolchain uses pie and -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2)
