Default Re: Vista 64 ultimate BSOD after SP2 upgrade

Well I thought I had the problem fixed........but had the BSOD again today. It hasn't happened since I went back to the 177.90 vid driver last week.

Before with the 185's it did it once, twice a day. Now it's once a week??!!

I'm not sure what it is now...........all I know is that my machine was perfect before I upgraded to SP2. After the upgrade.......then the BSOD started.

I still believe it's a vid driver issue, but not so sure. I may have to wipe the HD clean and do a complete re-install of Vista SP1. I need to pinpoint if it's a hardware or software problem. All my components are 6 months old or less. I'm leaning toward it being software related.

Any other ideas guys?
