Don't want to burst everyone's bubbles but...
Remember what TechNet is for; a low coast way for software developers to test compatibility with Microsoft software. You pay yearly subscription fees. You effectively have valid licensed software to use for development and testing purposes, which are valid during your subscription period.
It is a cheaper way to obtain genuine Microsoft licenses but you are at the mercy of Microsoft who could detect and revoke such licenses if they choose. Or harass you for breaching the license agreement. I don't blame people for wanting to reduce the price of Microsoft software or head toward legitimate purchases rather than warez. Just be warned.
