Default Re: Which NVIDIA Graphics Cards can display 2048x2048 ?

Hi Bernhard!

I got that "modeline example" from here -> http://forums.entechtaiwan.com/index.php?topic=1168.0 .
But I think that modeline values are wrong. I've tested and didn't work.

BARCO's ISIS (MDP-471) Display has an "On Screen Display" that shows some technical information.
I got these info below using BARCO's "On Screen Display", as a reference for future comparison:

a) Condition: Linux CentOS-5.3 x86_64 + BARCO's Display + BARCO's Graphics Card
- Horizontal frequency: 118.187 KHz
- Vertical frequency: 56.821 Hz
- Pixel Clock: 257.000 MHz
- Number of Lines: 2080

b) Condition: Solaris on Spark + BARCO's Display + BARCO's Graphics Card
- Horizontal frequency: 125.020 KHz
- Vertical frequency: 60.106 Hz
- Pixel Clock: 271.000 MHz
- Number of Lines: 2080

I'm looking for more information about front/back porch and sync pulse, but I don't have it yet.

A coleague lend me another machine with Windows XP and a GeForce 9300 GE, and I have started some tests with this ...
I think that will be easier to change and test values using this new test environment/configuration, although sometimes windows "freezes" and must be reset.

I've included Option "ExactModeTimingsDVI" "True" on my xorg.conf .

As soon as I manage to get a working configuration on Windows, I will post it here.

Thank you very much!

Odracir.
