Default Re: [BugReport] Xinerama Broken in 190.42

I thought that this might be related to an issue in the ' ArchLinux, xorg 1.7, Nvidia 190.42 => segfault' thread and tried a patch mentioned there. It didn't help.

On the other hand, I figured out a fix. Here's what I wrote there:

On a hunch, that this was some simple arithmetic issue with dealing with the mouse x offset,
(e.g., an unsigned int being used instead of a signed one), I switched the sense of the two screens. That is in Xorg.conf

Section "ServerLayout"
Identifier "X.org Configured"
Screen 0 "Screen0" RightOf "Screen1"
Screen 1 "Screen1" 0 0
InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer"
EndSection

I changed RightOf to LeftOf. Everything now works, (although I'm going to have to switch the screens physically of course.

I don't know if this is a problem with xserver or with the nvidia driver, but my bet is that it's a simple integer arithmetic problem.
