What exactly do you mean my "N seconds ahead"; is it:

a) Using original timestamps from the stream, with 0.1s added to each>
b) Creating fake timestamps, each 0.1s apart?

Either way, what modification do I need to make to your git tree to repro the problem without manipulated timestamps?
