You need an SSD. I think my boot time is 38 seconds from hitting the power button to sitting at the desktop ready to go. (Including login)

I'd take a quick peek at msconfig and see what programs you have loading on startup. My install is still pretty new, so I only have a handful of programs that load. Also, what antivirus are you using?
