Hi, its me again.
When looking at the xserves log it tells me that the file holding the EDID information I retrieved from Windows cannot be opened.
When I do a
cat xorg.log | grep "(WW)"
(EE) error, (NI) not implemented, (??) unknown.
(WW) The directory "/usr/share/fonts/X11/cyrillic" does not exist.
(WW) Jan 07 12:39:24 NVIDIA(GPU-0): CustomEDID for display device DFP-0: cannot open file
(WW) Jan 07 12:39:24 NVIDIA(GPU-0): '/etx/X11/edid.bin'
(WW) Jan 07 12:39:24 NVIDIA(GPU-0): Unable to read EDID for display device DFP-0
(WW) Jan 07 12:39:25 NVIDIA(0): Unable to get display device DFP-0's EDID; cannot compute DPI
(WW) Jan 07 12:39:25 NVIDIA(0): from DFP-0's EDID.
(WW) <default pointer>: No Device specified, looking for one...
So there is obviously something wrong with the file itself. It is not a permission problem, I checked that out. Can anyone help me on this?
