Default Re: Anyone running a Q9650 here?

I'm not sure why I want it cooler. It think it's because I was use to seeing my E8400 idle at 28C, but that is a totally different chip. I'm using a DD GTX240 radiator with two Scythe 120mm Slipstream fan hooked up to a Scythe KM02 fan controller. I have them spinning at about 1200RPMs to keep it quiet, but if I take them up to full blast, I can hit 29C at idle. But my reason for watercooling was to keep the machine as silent as possible.

Thanks for the responses!
