Yeah, for me the 185 drivers are no good due to the blurry screen problem after console switches or logout/login...

Lucid with Nouveau has been the most useful for me thus far - with that combination I at least have working brightness controls although it is slooooowwwwww..... Kinda wish I'd gotten something with an Intel card instead, they at least ensure that there's drivers for their hardware at release time!

I never got nouveau working on Karmic at all - not really sure what the issue was but no-go.

I'm guessing most of the rest of you with this card are also running on Lenovo W510's? If so have any of you had sound issues?
