Thanks for the answers everyone - so just as I thought, Adobe (and Nvidia?) doesn't give a damn, about Linux users

still I hope it will be done - it would be nice even for normal flash movies on youtube which tends to eat 50% of dual core CPU now, to be decoded on GPU. Yes I know we can redirect most movies to mplayer - but the whole point of this topic is to make flash decoder as fast as mplayer, so no redirection would be needed. Well we can only hope that gnash will get better and we will be able to throw away Adobe Flash player once and for all, after all it always was (and still is) very crappy software especially the Linux version.
