Well I did that a few years ago with the 6800 Ultra and 7800GTX cards. Bought the factory overclocked and watercooled Gainward CoolFX cards and it was so not worth it.
The 7800GTX were about $1300 a piece (prices were much higher back then) and I switched cards like usual with the next generation.
Even now it's a lot of money to spend for cards you'll probably own only a few months until the next big thing comes.
And it's harder to sell the cards because of the cooling, especially two of them.
I watercooled my PCs for a few years in the past and I really hated it. Guess I did it because it was "cool to watercool" but compared to air cooling it's just a lot more work and less flexibility. You just can't take out one of the GFX cards to test something quickly or to add some other card for a few days... it's all attached to that freaking loop.
Yeah those are by far the biggest down sides to watercooling. I don't even know if EVGA will release them in this part of the world.
