The MSRP isn't a promise to their end customers at all,it means the manufacturers
SUGGESTED retail price for the cards,and we do live in a capitalist system where demand drives the pricing afterall,so given the limited supply of cards available due to TSMC's limited volume production,the prices might stay pretty high no matter what.
