Dont see why you would have to upgrade as you could use slots 1 and 3 unless the supplied SLI connector is a short one. And those can be had for less than 20 bucks. Which leaves water cooling, dangerden.com, I'd say an upgrade would be closer to 1500 than 2g.
Still too expensive tho. $$$$$ is why I voted no, and heat. Noise is a non issue for me.
