Well that's general assumption, however the thing is on my second monitor i see how much VRAM is being used and never saw it use more then 700 MB. So unless GPUZ and sidebar-gadget reports false info... its not ram isssue
And to clarify ,stuttering and short freezes were in that specific test not in all my games. Off course it could be driver/software/*insert any other reason here* issue.
From my personal observation while owning GTX 295 for a looong time , drivers break or fix suttering in various games.. so its natural to assume its SLI thing. Single GPU less problems.
