Nice benches. And the guy had his i7 OC'd to 4.5GHz which helped. 2-card SLI seems to scale really well. Three are probably being held back by the CPU.
It's nice to think they have had all that extra time to fine tune drivers but I'm sure the driver team had alot of other things to do other than fine tune gtx 400 drivers. So I'm going to assume there still plenty of headroom to grow yet no matter when the 400 series was supposed to release.
