Your best bet would be to read up on any bench marks you can find. What one person here would call good another may not be happy with.
Personally I'm loving the 470 - runs reasonably cool (maxed at 80c in furmark after 2 minutes), the fan is much less annoying than my 4870's, IQ looks better to me and gameplay seems much smoother - mostly due to higher minimum fps near as I can tell.
So far I can max almost every game also, except Metro, haven't messed with Crysis yet.
If you plan on overclocking it you can come close to meeting or exceeding a single 480 for a good bit less cash also.
