Interesting. I guess even though the card is supposed to use two 150W GF104 cores, it will require two 8-pin PCIe power connectors, more than likely because the 300W limitation is just too close and they didn't want to further hinder performance of the GF104 cores or kill the overclocking potential.

Come on DarthBeavis take your green glasses off and you have to admit the lack of efficiency and inability to totally blow the ATI cards out of the water has been a little disappointing. They have had fairly warm reviews but nothing like when the GeForce 8 series came out. I admit the major success for the GeForce 400 cards seems to be great SLI scaling. I hope they continue that trend while keeping the drivers working well. My SLI experience with 8800s was pretty bad, but it sounds like major improvements have been made.
