Re: What is the best dedicated PhysX card?
I have a Sparkle Low-Profile GTS 250 1Gb and it seems to handle Physx extremely well. I have a feeling that a GT240 wouldn't be fast enough to process physx better than a 480 could.
If I were you, I'd get at least a 9800GT... preferably a GTS 250. People will tell you that you don't need that much power, but you certainly will in some cases if you want to maintain good performance, and what's the point of buying a Physx card at all if you still have a Physx related bottleneck at some point? Get the best thing you can afford that isn't a total waste of power.
