Default Re: Building Another HTPC

Now that the wife has a job and lives out of town, I have the big screen to myself. I figure since I spend a lot of my time in front of the computer as it is, why not do so on my couch...

Now, my I7 system has to stay in my studio as it's used for recording. I have a second machine I'm not using but it's a full desktop...

soooooo New HTPC parts en hot route pursuit to my door!

So far the machine already has the following:

ABIT IP35 Pro motherboard
4 gigs Corsair XMS2 DDR1066
Intel E8400 (currently clocked @ 3.75~ish ghz)
Corsair 620watt modular PSU
Samsung DVD drive
1TB western digital caviar black
120mm zalman CPU cooler
Win7 x64

CPU cooler (I've checked and the zalman won't fit

Sound card

Video Card

Parts should be here thursday and friday so with any luck, it'll be up and going by this weekend.
