The system is FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE-p4 with GT240

I am trying to run the latest drivers 256.44 x64 version.

When installed, resolution displays fine but the computer freezes at a random point in time,
almost invariably within the first few minutes, sometimes within a few seconds. The freeze is
fatal, and the computer needs to be reset.

Reverting back to 256.25 eliminates the problem.

I haven't tried 256.35, I'll give that a go and get back to you. Meanwhile, are there any known
problems with 256.44 that would cause such a freeze with my setup?
