Two 480d requires a hell of a PSU. 850s and 950s don't cut it IIRC when both cards are stressed.
I'd think that a really good 1000w or 1200w would fit the bill. Nate, you'd be pretty CPU limited with that AMD setup unless you can get that CPU to a good honest 4.0ghz, so unless you can do that, I wouldn't SLI anything more than two GTX 460 or 465s.
