Just tried a few games demos in Steam using WINE.
Worms Reloaded Demo - Sound worked after installing the latest DirectX and runs fine.
Civilization V Demo - Works just fine and playable.
Mass Effect 2 Demo- Works fine and playable but has some issues with the mouse.
