Default 3D Vision in Linux

Hi all.

As the title states, i'd like to use 3d Vision under Linux.
My graphics card is Nvidia Quadro FX 3700.
I have installed the nvidia driver (256.53) and it works with my Acer H5360 Projector.
Then I enabled 3d vision stereo in the configuration file (Option "Stereo" "10").
After that, the following command worked.
Code:
glxgears -stereo
I saw the usual 3 gearwheels, but it looked like two images (kind of like when you're drunk).

When I restart the X-Server, the Beamer tells me that it's running in 60hz, but i think it should be 120. If that is the issue, how can i solve it?
