Yeah the invisible wall thing really takes away any kind of immersion you get, but the combat is actually very well done.

In the spot around where I am, there is a knight that looks like you can reach by jumping across a small gap, but it won't let you. You have jumped (from the look of it) significantly longer gaps earlier, but you can't manage this one and it won't let you try either. You have to actually go around to get to it.

The only thing I wish they did was put dodge to the right analog stick like GoW. If you could adjust the camera with the right analog stick I'd think the controls are fine, but since you can't there is no reason to make the block+left stick direction be dodge.
