Default Re: WinXP setup loop

Just got a new computer and tried to install XP to no avail. The computer boots up really slow, taking a long time to get to the POST screen, once it finally gets into the intial WinXP setup everything runs. When its done and the computer restarts to go onto the second part of the install ( where you put in the CD key, network settings, etc. ) it never does, just boots into the intial setup to the same thing. Not sure what the deal here is.
Something dodgy going on there...any beep codes etc from the mobo?

taking a long time to POST?...exactly how long? that really doesn't sound too good...

also do please tell us your hardware details, ppl might be able to help you more if u gave out more details etc?
