That's why I think it's not exactly a useless card but... impractical, unless available as a water cooled part, and even with that, 320W+ (probably) for beating the 480 by a certain margin (but not enormously big)... well, that... impractical in my opinion.
As a proof of concept, however, is quite remarkable, at least we got to see the first NVIDIA model sporting a dual chip configuration.
